WITH the January transfer window closing today, Sergio Aguero has been questioned about his future at Manchester City, having a full and frank discussion over the possibility of a move to Scottish giants, Celtic.

The Manchester City star was first forced to dismiss reports of a move to Spain. “Real and Barca are two great clubs but I am happy in Manchester to be at another big club,” he told the predominantly Spanish-speaking press gathered outside his home.

The one lone English speaking reporter then asked what his reaction was to the recent transfer speculation about a move to Celtic. Aguero immediately fell silent for a moment, staring at the ginger-haired journalist.

“What? Ahhhhhh. What?” he eventually responded. “Celtic? The team in Scotland? What?” he spluttered. “Why are you asking this?”

“So would you care to comment on the recent article in The Sun linking you with a move to Parkhead?” the reporter repeated.

“Where? Who?” the perplexed looking Argentine replied. “I’m sorry, I don’t think I understand the question.”

“You don’t understand the question?” the journalist laughed.

“Yes,” the striker replied. “Because it sounds like you’re asking me, Sergio Aguero, if I’d like to move to the fucking SPL or whatever they fuck they call it now.”

The 28-year-old’s firm response appeared to put a damper to Celtic fans’ hopes, but the interviewer seemed unconvinced. “So you totally deny that you’re in discussions with the Bhoys then?”

“Yes of course,” Kun shouted, before cursing repeatedly in Spanish. “Why the hell would I leave Man City in the Premier League to play in fucking Scotland? Are you fucking mental?”

“Do you think I want play Inverness or St. Mirren, do you? Do you know who Graeme Shinnie is? No? Well neither do I… and I’d like to keep it that way.”

“So is Brendan Rodgers the problem then?” the reporter persisted. “Or are you just more of a Rangers fan?”

“No I just don’t give a shit about the Scottish league,” Aguero snapped back. “Let me repeat. I’m Sergio fucking Aguero and I do not want to go to Scotland.”

The reported later admitted tomorrow’s headline would read “Die-Hard Celtic Fan Kun Aguero Rejects Rodgers”.

Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell, when asked about Aguero’s comments, responded: “Honestly I’m just fucking delighted Sergio Augero said our name. The club will be submitting an offer to Man City tomorrow. We’ll finally give in to Pep’s ‘Leigh Griffiths swap deal’ demands.”
