Donald Trump on U.S. Women’s National Team: “It’s great revenge for Pearl harbour but those women should really thank the men.”

US presidential hopeful, Donald Trump, has again risked alienating himself from half the US population, by launching an astonishing outburst on the heroic US Women’s soccer team. Mr Trump, speaking outside his new $780 million hotel in Athens, Greece said of the 2015 World Cup winners:

“Listen, I’m delighted that we got revenge for Pearl Harbour it was hair raising stuff, but the Women’s team should really be thanking men. Men won WWII and men won the World Soccer Cup. Their coach is a man, Jim Ellis. Great guy. Their assistant coach is a man, and their previous head coach was a man. How can women be so deluded. They just don’t understand sports on our level.”  – Donald Trump

Democratic Presidential candidate, Hilary “Hilldog” Clinton was outraged and labelled Trump’s remarks “sexist in the extreme”. Clinton said “Trump is just jealous because those girls have beautiful hair, and he just has a dead fox on his head” before correctly pointing out that the USWNT manager is a woman named Jill Ellis.

Her husband, Bill Clinton, said he was fully supportive of the US Women’s soccer team and had been for years. “I’m right behind the Women’s team, or in front of them, or wherever they want me to be. The important is that I’m there, with the women.”

Trump’s views are the latest in a line of controversial outbursts from Trump after he called Mexican people “rapists”, while admitting “some of them I assume are good people.”

When asked why the US Mens Soccer team weren’t as successful as the Women’s, Trump preceded to offend another large cross section of Americans:

“Soccer is too fruity for men to play. Only women and smelly gay Europeans should play it. That’s what rapey Mexican’s play. When I become President, Yanet Garcia will be the only Mexican I’m gonna allow into America. No birth certificate needed.” – Donald Trump
