Responding to Donald Trump describing Hurricane Florence as “one of the wettest we’ve ever seen from the standpoint of water”, Hillary Clinton has called the American President “one of the dumbest we’ve ever seen from the standpoint of intelligence”.
“This is a dumb president,” Mrs Clinton said, “one of the dumbest we’ve ever seen from the standpoint of intelligence.”
“Rarely have we had a president like him, and he is certainly not good,” she added.
The comments which are sure to be completely ignored by President Trump, were retweeted 19 million times in less than an hour, a new record for Twitter. The self-proclaimed “stable genius” later reiterated his groundbreaking discovery that rain is wet and added that it was his understanding that it also came from the sky.
At press time Trump said that he would not be responding directly to Hillary’s comments saying that while he disagreed with her opinion, he respected her right to express her views.
