THE most sought after teenage defender in the world, Matthijs de Ligt, has all but confirmed a summer move to Manchester United, by liking an Instagram post of a giant pile of cash.
De Ligt, who has been liking the Instagram posts of United players for the past few weeks sending Red Devils fans into hysterics, has now given the clearest possible indication of his intention to move to Old Trafford by liking the image which was posted by Alexis Sanchez as a throwback to the Chilean’s original signing-on fee at Man Utd.
Like Sanchez, de Ligt is expected to earn up-to a gigantic pile of cash every week, with additional piles of cash expected providing de Ligt reaches certain objectives, such as appearing in social media posts that get over 100,000 likes, etc.

The 19-year-old is thought to be very attracted to the United model of rewarding players for social media interaction rather than their interaction with a football, that has propelled Jesse Lingard to becoming the highest paid player in world football.
