HANOI, VIETNAM—New details have emerged suggesting President Trump walked away from talks with Kim Jong Un after the North Korean leader suggested Burger King is better than McDonalds.
Witnesses to the meeting say the talks began well with the pair enthusiastically agreeing to order some food.
However cracks began to appear when it came to agreeing on what takeaway to order with Trump firmly sticking to McDonalds or KFC and Kim unwilling to compromise on Burger King.
“Sometimes you have to walk,” Trump told reporters moments after ending the meeting after becoming deeply offended that Kim did not listen to his expert opinion.
“No one knows fast food better than me, believe me. I know I say that alot but this time I really mean it.”
“Honestly I think this is the worst thing to ever happen to an American in Vietnam.”
