The outgoing U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, has announced she is prepared to stay on as long as needed for her successor Kanye West to get up to speed on his new role.
With President Trump suggesting that it should “probably only take a few days”, Haley said she will happily teach Mr West about the intricacies of global politics over the next few months and has already prepared a handy picture-book titled “Countries of the World”, that she had originally prepared for the President.
West’s appointment is deemed a mere formality with the rapper turned political icon described by the President as “the outstanding candidate for the role” after his series of rambling rants in the Oval Office this week.
“He’s exactly what this administration craves,” one source told the Washington Post. “He speaks his mind, regardless of whether he’s thought things through or not, but especially if he hasn’t.”
Mr. West who has recently undergone a name change, will soon the be known as ‘U.S. Ambassador the United Nations Ye’ and has already been tasked by the President with his first big assignment, finding out what the initials U.N. actually stand for.
