MANCHESTER United fans across the world were ecstatic Wednesday morning with the news that a player they first heard of yesterday, had finally signed for the club.
“Been following this lad closely for the past 24 hours. Looks a proper talent,” read one of many #MUFC twitter posts.
“He can play anywhere, that’s the beauty of the lad,” wrote another Red Devils fan who definitely knew Dalot’s natural position.
On Youtube, Manchester United fan pages posted various compilation videos of the new star signing’s over 9 senior appearances, with comments ranging from “finally got our man” to “always looked like he belonged in a red shirt”.
Google search results for “who the fuck is Diogo Dalot” rose sharply yesterday, approximately 35,000%, but United fans were quick to display an array of knowledge about their new Portuguese signing, entirely limited to his Wikipedia page.
