Bellion, 36, Interviewed For Man Utd Technical Director Role

FORMER France U21 and Manchester United star, David Bellion, was seen leaving Old Trafford yesterday evening, fueling speculation that he is in line to be United’s next Technical Director.

Ed Woodward and the Glazers have been keen to appoint a former player to the position and have already sounded out the likes of Rio Ferdinand and Peter Schmeichel as well as Eric Djemba-Djemba, Luke Chadwick and Bojan Djordjic.

However it appears Bellion, who made over 23 appearances for the Red Devils, has emerged as the frontrunner for the role.

Since retiring from football, Bellion has remained active in the game, working for Red Star Belgrade as their creative director where according to his Wikipedia he builds “links between the club and the world of culture and the arts”.

Whether Bellion would be prepared to leave such a role for a position trying to revive United, remains to be seen.
