Giggs’ family Christmas cancelled for 4th year in a row

Ryan Giggs has confirmed to FMFN that the annual Giggs’ extended family dinner, has been cancelled for the 4th year in a row. He cited a “small misunderstanding” with a family member as the main reason for the cancellation: “I invited my brother’s family round to ours for Christmas, but he got mad because I didn’t invite him.”

The Man Utd legend says he was simply getting into the spirit of the season, a time Giggs says, for sharing. “When I became a footballer I made sure to share my wealth with the entire family,” he said. “We’ve always been a family that divides things evenly but apparently we can’t share everything. In hindsight, I probably should have asked first.”

Giggs said he didn’t receive many calls from well-wishers this Christmas, aside from one. “Got a call from one of the lads at Chelsea who is not having the best Christmas himself,” Giggs revealed. “It’s not easy to be apart from the ones you truly love.”
