THE “illness” that has forced Raheem Sterling to miss the start of Liverpool’s pre-season appears to be more serious than initially thought. As is Liverpool’s policy, Sterling’s parents must send a letter to Rodgers explaining his absence after missing more than 3 days in a row.
FM Football News has exclusively obtained a letter from Raheem Sterling’s mother in which she explains that her son’s absence will continue:

The £50 million cheque has in fact been forwarded to Southampton with a note simply reading: “How much for the rest? – Brendan”
