Woman to play next James Bond.

Recent news of Daniel Craig stepping down from his role as James Bond have film critics everywhere anxiously awaiting the decision of who will star as the suave British Intelligence Agent.
According to several sources, Sony Pictures, who currently own the rights to the Bond Franchise, are considering a female lead for the next Bond project. This development is due to noticeable pressure on hollywood executives in recent years to cast more strong female leads. Films previously starring male characters such as Ghostbusters and Mad Max have been remade with women as the lead characters.
This news has come as a shock to many Bond Fans, but has also garnished worldwide support from women’s rights groups. Stephanie Bolduc from the Western Women’s Liberation Front commented via Twitter saying “ James Bond has been played by a man since the 60’s. It’s pure sexist and about time that that cisgendered misogynist be replaced by a woman.”
Anger coming from longtime fans of the series is also starting to surface. Elliot Cramer, the president of the South London Bond Club released a statement saying “James bond is supposed to be played by a man! A handsome, charming man. One with huge muscles capable of pinning other men to the ground for like a half an hour to an hour, you know? A broad can’t do that.”
So what can we expect from the next Bond Film? Recent leaked emails from studio executives reveal potential plot lines. Under the new role, James, or “Jane” as you could say, will be thrown into a high stakes thriller where she out of nowhere turns on MI6 and goes rogue.
Seeking an explanation for her bizarre actions in the field she will simply reply, “you know what you did.”
